Semester Abroad in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala

Casa Xelaju offers a semester abroad program for students who are looking for courses in Spanish language, Spanish and Latin American literature, Spanish culture and civilization, or internship programs. The courses offered include Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Spanish language courses and the following specialized courses:

Introduction to Hispanic Literature I
Introduction to Hispanic Literature II,
Introduction to Latin American Literature
Spanish Culture and Civilization
and supervised Internships in the local community for credit.

2008 - 2009 Catalog Course Descriptions for SPAN

The length of each course is five weeks with five college credits per class. College credits are available through the Brookhaven University Study Abroad Program.
