CLAD/BCLAD
Test Preparation For Spanish and Bilingual Teachers
Test # 6
Casa Xelaju Spanish Program offers
an intensive total immersion CLAD/BCLAD test preparation course
for the Spanish component. Our test preparation course will
highly improve your listening, reading, speaking and academic
writing skills to the point where you should be able to pass
this test with ease. Schoolteachers will be focus on topics
such as main ideas, cause and effect, and details. This training
will increase and speed up teachers' speaking abilities, and
comprehension in listening and writing. Our teachers will work
on oral, reading, speaking and writing exercises similar to
the real CLAD/BCLAD test # 6.
It is recommended that school teachers take this test preparation
for at least 2 weeks. This period of time will allow teachers
to master all the material included in the CLAD test # 6. The
instruction for this test preparation will be one-on-one instruction,
5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
School teachers will be living with a Guatemalan family. Living
with a Guatemalan family will help to improve teachers' listening
and oral skills. Furthermore, Guatemalan families will help
teachers to understand the culture and social issues of ELL
students in their schools.
This test preparation is
for teachers who will take the test for the first time or teachers
who have not been able to pass the test on previous attempts.
For more information about testing dates, please visit http://www.ctc.ca.gov/profserv/examinfo/cladbclad.html
This test preparation is
offered year-round. Classes start on any Monday.
