Summer Program for High School Students
Yum Kax, the high school division of Casa Xelaju, is the oldest and most established high school Spanish and travel program in Guatemala. The Spanish immersion program is fully accredited by the Secretary of Education of Guatemala. The program caters to the special needs of high school students studying Spanish, doing volunteer work in small communities, and traveling with educational purposes. The unique location of Quetzaltenango provides an urban experience with many indigenous communities in the surrounding area.
