Spanish Literature Workshop

The main purpose of the workshop was to train the teachers who work in this field to apply their knowledge of literary theories, literary analysis, and literary terminology in the classroom.
With this knowledge, Casa Xelaju’s teachers will be able to help our future students to read, write, understand literary works in the three main genres: narrative, poetry and theater. In addition, the teachers will be able to discuss with their current and future students how to identify topics related to literary structure, including plots, images, metaphors, and allegories, among others.As a result of this workshop, Casa Xelaju has created four new university-level literature classes:
Introduction to Hispanic literature I
Introduction to Hispanic literature II
Introduction to Latin American Literature
Spanish Culture and Civilization.For more information on our literature courses for college credit, please click here. Casa Xelaju also offers Spanish language classes for college or university credit, and other specialized programs for Educators, Business, Health-Care Workers, or for thosestudents looking to pass specific accreditation exams in the Spanish language.
