New Spanish curriculum

Our Spanish immersion curriculum has been digitized

The goal of the workshop was to  train our teachers how to use the curriculum from Spanish Now text book.

The adoption of the new curriculum is alignment with The American Federation of Teachers academic standards.  During this  workshop, our teachers were able to master how to digitize their lesson plans and homework assignments using google docs and google drive. This change will have a very positive impact on the way our students learn Spanish.  The curriculum has been divided into: Accelerated Spanish, Academic Spanish, Regular Spanish and Spanish for Travelers. We also offer Spanish for Health-Care Workers, and for those students looking to pass specific accreditation exams in the Spanish language.
This workshop taught by Julio E. Batres, to Casa Xelaju's faculty.  He is currently teaching Spanish at Bloomington Public Schools in MN.
